VIDEO: Carmelo trains with Real Madrid
The New York Knicks have a lot in common with Real Madrid as both teams are among the highest-paying in their respective league.
Actually, according to an April survey courtesy of ESPN, both teams are among the highest-paying in the world. The Knicks rank 12th on the list with an average salary of $5,867,808, while Real Madrid rank fourth with an average salary of $7,586,438.
Anyways, for lack of a better segue, watch as the Knicks' $124-million man Carmelo Anthony spent some time at UCLA towards the end of July training with Los Galacticos as the squad continued their preseason tour of the United States.
As you'll see, aside from the socks, Anthony was nowhere near dressed the part, showing up in a basketball jersey and what looked like slip-on shoes.
Blame the poor first touch on the slip-ons, but hey, at least his heading game is on point.
