With a souped-up version of him in Jose Calderon in town, the New York Knicks are reportedly looking for takers on veteran point guard Pablo Prigioni.
How 'bout a Knicks rumble? I'm told they're trying to find a new home for Pablo Prigioni as well as Wayne Ellington to create roster room

NOT a case of Knicks not liking Prigioni. It's more NYK being unable to move Ellington unless they attach likes of Prigioni or Shane Larkin

In his sophomore year with the Knicks last season, the 37-year-old Prigioni averaged 3.8 points and 3.5 assists in under 20 minutes per game. Similar to Calderon (who was acquired this offseason in a trade with the Dallas Mavericks), Prigioni is a sure-handed point guard who doesn't turn the ball over, while being deadly accurate on three-pointers.
Wayne Ellington, on the other hand, is a career journeyman. Over five years in the league, Ellington has bounced around four organizations, posting career per-game averages of 6.4 points and 1.8 rebounds.
Among the two, Prigioni should carry more trade value as he's a capable backup making under $2 million next season. With the Knicks having added both Calderon and Shane Larkin this offseason, they have some expendable depth at the point guard position.
