The Cleveland Cavaliers are reportedly on the verge of landing a significant running mate for LeBron James:
Sources: Cavs have agreement for Kevin Love, including long-term contract commitment. Wiggins, Bennett, pick to Minn. http://t.co/r2KmO5owwY

The deal, which will see the Timberwolves land No. 1 picks Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett, along with a future first-rounder, can't be finalized until Aug. 23. But it's expected to be completed shortly after, with Love reportedly agreeing to opt out of his contract at the end of the coming season to sign a five-year, $120-million extension with the Cavaliers.
Love was originally hesitant to sign a long-term deal with any team, preferring to test the free-agent market. But with the Cavaliers having brought James back while locking up franchise point guard Kyrie Irving to a max contract, the situation in Cleveland may have been too good for the sharpshooting power forward to pass up.
