Ray Allen said recently he hasn't been courted by LeBron James and company to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers, nevertheless, he won't be hanging up his sneakers this season.
According to a report from Chris Broussard, the prolific shooter told those close to him that his playing days aren't numbered. The ESPN source notes Cleveland is the front-runner for his services.
Broussard also tweeted Thursday that he'd heard Allen will join the Cavs if they land All-Star forward Kevin Love, and that deal looks to be all but done. The key piece in sending Love to Cleveland is 2014 No. 1 draft pick Andrew Wiggins, who can't be traded until Aug. 23.
