Leiweke to continue as CEO of MLSE until June 2015; successor could be named earlier

Reports of Tim Leiweke's imminent departure as president and chief executive officer of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment have gone back and forth in recent days, but it appears as though he will indeed vacate the position in 10 months or less.
CEO Tim Leiweke informed MLSE that he will continue as CEO until June 30, 2015 or until a successor is appointed. #Raptors #Leafs #TFC

Earlier this week, Leiweke claimed reports of his departure from the post were "100 percent not true" - he did, however, qualify that by adding he was committed to the 2014-15 season, which left the door open for this type of announcement.
