Report: Sixers claim Chris Johnson off waivers

The Philadelphia 76ers filled out their roster on Sunday by claiming small forward Chris Johnson off waivers. Johnson was waived Sunday by the Boston Celtics along with John Lucas III and Malcolm Thomas.

The move pushes the Sixers' roster number to 20, which is the maximum allowable for training camp.
Johnson averaged 6.3 points and 2.4 rebounds per game with the Celtics last season. He appeared in 40 games and and played nearly 20 minutes per contest. The 6-foot-6 forward is 24 years old.
