Wizards' Humphries underwent finger surgery, will miss 3-4 weeks

The Washington Wizards will be short one body for the remainder of training camp and potentially the start of the season.
As reported by Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports, power forward Kris Humphries underwent surgery to correct a nerve issue in his shooting hand.
Humphries signed with the Wizards as a free agent this summer, and is expected to serve as the first big off the bench. Given that the Wizards have the oft-injured Nene starting at power forward, Humphries provides much-needed depth.
As a member of the Boston Celtics last season, Humphries averaged 8.4 points and 5.9 rebounds in just under 20 minutes per game.
