Spencer Hawes: Looks Good Against Trail Blazers
Hawes scored 15 points to go with six rebounds in bench duty against Portland on Sunday. He added a trio of three-pointers in the contest on six attempts.
Analysis:
While it was presumed that Hawes would take a significant hit in fantasy value as a reserve for the Clippers, he looked like an asset against the Trail Blazers. He still does not carry the same type of statistical upside that he had last season, but it is clear that he is going to be a contributor for the Clippers this year, and Hawes has the skill set to play next to DeAndre Jordan and/or Blake Griffin if given the opportunity.
