After a summer of playing with Team USA, Brooklyn Nets sophomore center Mason Plumlee is ready to take his game to the next level.
A confident Plumlee told the New York Daily News that he's looking to expand his shooting range this season.
"They leave me open from 15 feet and in, I'm taking the shot," Plumlee said.
However, Hollins wants different things from his young big.
"I'd rather for him never to shoot a jump shot," Hollins said. "I'd like to just see him more confident in going to that (hook shot), and making it basically his go-to move."
As a rookie, Plumlee almost never used his jumpshot. Plumlee took 302 field goal attempts last season and of those attempts, 78.5 percent were launched within three feet of the basket.
