Thunder lose another player as Roberson leaves with foot sprain

And then there were eight.

The Oklahoma City Thunder lost yet another player Monday night, as Andre Roberson suffered an apparent left ankle injury in the first quarter against the Brooklyn Nets. The Thunder broadcast revealed that Roberson has a left foot sprain and will not return to the game.

Roberson drove in transition and rolled his left ankle after contact with Mirza Teletovic. On the ensuing defensive possession, Roberson intentionally fouled and asked out of the game rather than trying to gut his way through the set, a troubling sign. He was taken to the locker room immediately.

Roberson's injury leaves the Thunder laughably thin. They'll now have Reggie Jackson and Sebastian Telfair at guard, Perry Jones and Lance Thomas on the wing and four frontcourt players. It's going to be a heavy load on Jackson and Jones from here on out.
