Spurs school Warriors for 2nd straight road win
Well, the champs are here.
It took a couple of weeks for them to get going, but after an uncharacteristic 2-3 start to the season, the San Antonio Spurs have arrived to the 2014-15 party.
A day after rallying for a big road win against the Los Angeles Clippers, the Spurs put on a clinic on the second night of a back-to-back against the Warriors, winning at Golden State, 113-100.
The Spurs considered resting Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili, listing them as questionable earlier Tuesday, but both played and made an impact. Duncan recorded a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds, while Ginobili added 17 points off the bench.

Tony Parker led the way with 28 points and seven assists on 11-of-17 shooting.
Most impressive, the Spurs hung 113 points - on 49.5 percent shooting - on a Warriors' defense that entered the game ranked No. 1 in the NBA.
Keep in mind, too, that the defending champions are still without starting center and two-way big man Tiago Splitter, as well as bench scorers Patty Mills and Marco Belinelli.

Warriors guard Klay Thompson had a game-high 29 points in the loss, while Stephen Curry's streak of 75 consecutive games with at least one made 3-pointer came to an end.
The Spurs improved to 4-3 with the win, while the Warriors fell to 5-2, suffering their second straight loss after a 5-0 start to the season.
