Rick Ross says he'll bet $100K Heat finish with better record than Cavs
Rick Ross has a lot of money. And he's willing to gamble with it.
The Miami-based rapper apparently wasn't too happy LeBron James left the Heat this offseason for a reunion with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Ross praised James for his greatness, but said the superstar has a lot of baggage in a recent radio interview with Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex, according to SLAM. Ross also said he'll take the Heat over the Cavaliers this season.
"We most definitely finishing better than the Cavaliers," Ross said. "I’ll put a 100 grand on that."
Bold. While the Heat are 5-2 and in first place in the Southeast Division entering play Wednesday, the Cavaliers are widely expected to be the class of the Eastern Conference.
Cleveland takes a 3-3 record into a Friday matchup with the Boston Celtics.
