It's shaping up to be a long year for the New York Knicks.
The Minnesota Timberwolves cruised to an easy 115-99 victory over the Knicks on Wednesday to snap a five-game losing skid.
Kevin Martin led all scorers with 37 points, while Shabazz Muhammad chipped in with 17 points, eight rebounds and one massive one-handed alley-oop slam off a Corey Brewer lob pass.
New York has lost nine of its last 10 games - only the winless Philadelphia 76ers have a lower winning percentage among Eastern Conference teams.
This game was never really close. The Knicks trailed by 13 at half, by as many as 24 at one point, and committed 22 turnovers to lose their second game in as many nights.
