In their quest for young talent, the woeful Philadelphia 76ers are looking to Europe.
Turkey, more specifically, as the Sixers have reportedly signed big man Furkan Aldemir to a four-year contract. According to Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski, the deal will include two guaranteed years and two team options.
Aldemir was selected 53rd overall by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2012 NBA Draft and then traded to the Houston Rockets, before they traded his rights to Philadelphia in the deal that brought Royce White to Philly.
The 23-year-old Aldemir has played for Turkish club Galatasaray since 2011, where he's averaging 7.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game this season.
