Kings' Gay, Collison to miss 2nd straight game
Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports
The Sacramento Kings will be missing their starting backcourt of Rudy Gay and Darren Collison on Wednesday night against the Houston Rockets, according to the team.
Both were scratched from Tuesday's contest against the New Orleans Pelicans – Gay with Achilles tendinitis, Collison with a quad strain.
Gay hopes to return Friday against the San Antonio Spurs.
The Kings added that Collison's backup at the point, Ramon Sessions, is listed on the injury report with a knee strain, but considered probable in Houston.
