Kings' Cousins doubtful Friday vs. Spurs due to illness
Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports
Flu season is here.
DeMarcus Cousins of the Sacramento Kings has been listed as doubtful for Friday night's contest against the Spurs in San Antonio due to a virus.
Boogie's illness comes as Kings backcourt mates Rudy Gay and Darren Collison have missed the last two games with Achilles tendinitis and a quad injury, respectively.
Cousins shouldn't be out for long, but his absence would be a major blow for Sacramento. Cousins, one of the league's premier big men, is averaging 23.5 points and leads the NBA with 12.6 rebounds per game.
