Parker, Wiggins named NBA Rookies of the Month for November
The top two picks in the 2014 NBA draft were the first rookies to take home some hardware this season.
Andrew Wiggins, the No. 1 overall pick, of the Minnesota Timberwolves was named the Western Conference Rookie of the Month for October-November, the NBA announced Wednesday.
Jabari Parker, meanwhile, whom the Milwaukee Bucks selected one pick after Wiggins, was the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month.
These two are going to be linked to each other for a long time after there was much debate leading up to the draft about who should ultimately be the top selection. As of now, both teams are likely happy with the choices they made.
Wiggins and Parker are the top rookie scorers, with the Bucks' forward having the head-to-head statistical advantage over the first stretch of the season.
