VIDEO: Magic's O'Quinn ejected after flagrant foul
Kyle O'Quinn of the Orlando Magic was ejected in the second quarter of Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers after being assessed a Flagrant Foul-Penalty 2.
O'Quinn, who got the start in place of injured center Nikola Vucevic, was tossed after clobbering Clippers power forward Blake Griffin in the paint.
Players receive an automatic ejection after getting levied with a Flagrant Foul-Penalty 2. The play will be reviewed by the NBA and there's a chance O'Quinn could face further punishment, including suspension.
The loss of O'Quinn is unexpectedly bigger than usual with Vucevic out due to back spasms. The Magic will be forced to play the second half with a thin frontcourt against a Clippers team on a five-game winning streak.
O'Quinn had six points on 3-of-3 shooting from the field before the ejection, a night after going off for season highs of 21 points and 11 rebounds in a loss to the Golden State Warriors.
