PHOTO: Kobe Bryant, Rajon Rondo grab breakfast together

The basketball equivalent of Kim Kardashian breaking the Internet emerged Thursday, as Kobe Bryant and Rajon Rondo were photographed together in Boston.

With the Los Angeles Lakers in town for their Friday night matchup against the Celtics, and with Bryant and Rondo nearly three years removed from their last healthy matchup (March 11, 2012), the two stars got together for breakfast Thursday morning.

Once snapped and posted on Reddit, along with countless other social media platforms, the photo went viral and the rumors ran rampant.

Rondo will be an unrestricted free agent come July and both he and Bryant are known for their somewhat prickly demeanor. Cue the Rondo to L.A., match-made-in-heaven rumor machine.

The truth is that NBA stars from opposing teams get together all the time and it's not like the lowly Lakers and Celtics will be renewing that historic, heated rivalry anytime soon.

The only tangible thing we can take from this photo is that the guy on the laptop has some Mamba-level focus. Completely unfazed.
