Pelicans' Gordon still a few weeks away from return

New Orleans Pelicans shooting guard Eric Gordon hasn't played since Nov. 22 due to a torn labrum in his shoulder, and it looks like his return to the lineup won't be until the new year.
Gordon is still three-to-four weeks away from playing, although he has started shooting mid-range jumpers, reports Nakia Hogan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
The talented Gordon has been plagued by injuries throughout his seven-year NBA career. The seventh pick in the 2008 NBA Draft was averaging 9.5 points this season prior to injuring his shoulder.
