VIDEO: Kobe says February documentary 'became therapy on film'
Kobe Bryant has some things to say.
That's the teaser line from the new trailer for the documentary "Kobe Bryant's Muse" that was released by Showtime Sports on Friday. The one-minute trailer doesn't give much detail, but the 105-minute documentary, which will air on an unspecified date in February, promises to be an intimate and uncharacteristic look inside Bryant's life.
"This isn't a film," Bryant explains. "I want to say something. I have things I want to think about, things I want to dive into and get off my chest. I don't have the patience to sit and write a book, so I'll do it this way."
The documentary is said to dive into the recovery process as Bryant worked his way back from a potentially career-ending injury.
"What I found through the process is that it became more than a documentary," Bryant says. "It became therapy on film."
Is there any chance this documentary isn't just incredible?
