Kings' Gay calls Kendrick Perkins a 'clown'

It's safe to say that Sacramento Kings forward Rudy Gay isn't a fan of Oklahoma City Thunder backup center Kendrick Perkins.

In speaking to Blake Ellington of Sactown Royalty leading up to next Tuesday's contest between the Kings and Thunder, Gay had the following to say about Perkins.

"He might as well play with his face painted, he's a clown to me. Quote that, you can quote that. He's a clown to me, he might as well play with his face painted," Gay said. 

As noted by Ellington, the beef originally stemmed from an earlier match up between the two squads. Perkins made some disparaging comments during a pre-game scrum.
