VIDEO: Luol Deng gets away with blatant travel
Steve Mitchell / USA TODAY Sports
This looks like the definition of a travel.
The referee was standing right in front of the Miami Heat's Luol Deng and still failed to make a call. All it did was cost the Brooklyn Nets three points at the end of the first quarter, as Deng converted on the 25-foot buzzer-beater.
It's not the worst thing that happened to the Nets on Tuesday. The game was delayed in the first quarter due to a water leak in the ceiling of the two-year-old Barclays Center.
