Hawks' Teague out Saturday with hamstring strain
The Atlanta Hawks will be shorthanded for Saturday's game against the Houston Rockets as starting point guard Jeff Teague will miss the contest with a strained left hamstring, according to Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Teague also missed Wednesday's blowout win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Atlanta's Dennis Schroder will once again draw the start at point in place of Teague. Schroder scored 10 points and dished out 10 assists in Wednesday's victory, the first start of his career.
The 26-year-old Teague has been the best player on a strong Hawks team, which entered Saturday with an 18-7 record and the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference. Teague's averaging a career-high 16.8 points, while dishing out seven assists per game.
