Denver Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson was considered a game-time decision Monday against the Charlotte Hornets with tightness in his back, but it was later announced he will play, according to Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post.
The injury forced Lawson to miss shootaround Monday morning, noted Dempsey.
The point guard is shouldering a tremendous burden on offense for the Nuggets this season. He is averaging 37.4 minutes per contest and chipping in averages of 15.2 points and 10.7 assists.
