Blazers' Kaman awaiting birth of his son, won't play Friday

The Portland Trail Blazers will be down a big body Friday night, but by Saturday morning they should have a new little one to welcome to their community. 

Blazers center Chris Kaman will not play Friday against the Philadelphia 76ers, as he's with his wife for the impending birth of their son, according to Joe Freeman of the Oregonian. 

Kaman's wife, Emilie VilleMonte, reportedly went into labor earlier today.
