Jazz recall Toure' Murry from D-League

The Utah Jazz recalled guard Toure' Murry from the Idaho Stampede of the NBA Development League on Saturday.

Murry was only last assigned to the D-League on New Year's Eve, but the Jazz are decimated in the backcourt with a season-ending shoulder injury to Alec Burks and Rodney Hood on the shelf for at least a week with a heel injury.

To make matters worse, reserve Patrick Christopher dislocated his knee cap in a gruesome injury Friday against the Atlanta Hawks.

Murry hasn't seen action at the NBA level this season, but should get run in the coming week or two with rookie Dante Exum required to play more minutes.

Murry played in 51 games last season for the New York Knicks.
