VIDEO: Pierce mimics Westbrook's 'execution' interview
Well, that didn't take long.
In an interview that may never reach Allen Iverson "practice" levels but should be a lasting gag, Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook answered every question from a post-game interview on Friday by talking about the team's execution. Except for the one he answered by telling a reporter he didn't like him.
It took less than a week for Westbrook's sour schtick to get ripped off in jest, with Washington Wizards veteran Paul Pierce giving reporters the same treatment Saturday. As is often the case with Pierce, it was good for a laugh.
Pierce would continue to actually answer questions from reporters, though the over-sized, likely non-prescription glasses remained. The Thunder and Wizards square off on Wednesday, so Westbrook has his poster target for the evening.
