Heat's Deng, Wade will play Friday
Whatever illness is being passed around the Miami Heat locker room doesn't appear to be too serious.
Small forward Luol Deng will return Friday against the Indiana Pacers after missing just one game with the illness. His teammate Dwyane Wade, despite reportedly being under the weather himself and listed as a game-time decision earlier in the day, won't miss any time. He'll join Deng in the starting lineup.
The Heat are also expecting to have center Hassan Whiteside back from a sprained ankle, which would give them something resembling a complete roster for one of the few times this season.
At 18-24, the Heat sit seventh in the Eastern Conference, but have a tenuous hold on their playoff spot. They're just a half-game up on the ninth-place Charlotte Hornets and a game-and-a-half up on the 10th-place Detroit Pistons.
