The Milwaukee Bucks have signed guard Jorge Gutierrez to a 10-day contract, General Manager John Hammond announced Wednesday.
ESPN's Marc Stein first reported the Bucks' interest in Gutierrez on Tuesday.
Gutierrez most recently spent six games with the D-League's Canton Charge, averaging 15.2 points, six assists and five rebounds. The 26-year-old was waived by the Philadelphia 76ers after being acquired from the Brooklyn Nets in December.
Gutierrez, who saw limited time as a third-string point guard for the Nets last season, will slot in behind Brandon Knight and Jerryd Bayless in Milwaukee.
The Bucks were looking for guard depth after Kendall Marshall suffered a season-ending knee injury earlier this month.
