DeMarcus Cousins responds to critic who predicted he would be arrested
As DeMarcus Cousins' game has matured, so has his on-court temperament.
He's seemed a little more ornery lately, as the dysfunctional Kings spiral towards another season of irrelevance, but for the most part, Cousins has kept his demeanor in check. Case in point, after finishing in the top-two in technical fouls three years in a row, Cousins' four technicals so far this season have him in a tie for 23rd.
The big man also has an underrated sense of humor, and on Friday, he publicly reminded one pundit that you should never make ridiculous assumptions and proclamations on Twitter.
The Tweet was sent while Cousins was a 19-year-old freshman at Kentucky, which makes it all the more ridiculous.
Cousins earned himself a reputation as an on-court hothead, but contrary to the foolish opinion of some, arguing with referees and racking up technical fouls and minor suspensions doesn't make you a future criminal.
