VIDEO: Robin Lopez assaults Harry the Hawk
Robin Lopez cannot be stopped.
The Portland Trail Blazers center continued his reign of terror over the mascots of the NBA on Friday, assaulting yet another furry team avatar. Lopez, who is on the shelf with a broken hand, was not deterred by his injury, shoving Atlanta Hawks mascot Harry the Hawk upon coming face-to-face with him at Phillips Arena.
Harry even came ready with a gang of backup, but it was no use, as the floppy-haired 7-footer made quick work of the Hawk and moved on.
That's the first loss any Hawk has suffered in quite some time.
It's unclear if anything can be done to stop Lopez, who believes he's on a mission from God to lay waste to every mascot he comes across. Nobody has been able to slow or stop him yet, not even Grantland's Zach Lowe, who had a force majeure keep him from shedding light on Lopez's evil ways this week.
