VIDEO: Kobe Bryant reminisces with Jimmy Fallon about 1996 beer run

While his Los Angeles Lakers were in Wisconsin losing to the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, injured superstar Kobe Bryant hung back in Hollywood to rehab following surgery to repair his torn rotator cuff.

He also stopped by "The Tonight Show" to catch up with old pal and host Jimmy Fallon. 

The pair spent a few minutes reminiscing about being at a party together in 1996, when a roughly 19-year-old Bryant and 22-year-old Fallon were sent on a beer run. The catch was that they went to a delivery-only spot, something they didn't know since both were new to the city, and were only able to purchase beer after Bryant pulled the Lakers card.

Also of note: Bryant admits he's now a member of Team #PlayBald, pointing out that he can no longer grow hair when shown a picture of his 1996 short-cropped afro.
