Suns' Len sprains ankle after big dunk
Phoenix Suns center Alex Len left Thursday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers with a sprained right ankle and will not return, according to The Arizona Republic's Paul Coro.
Len sustained the injury while throwing down a thunderous alleyoop jam in the third quarter, with his right ankle turning underneath him upon landing after taking a hard, mid-air foul from Robin Lopez.
The 21-year-old crumpled to the court under the basket holding his right leg.
Len, who has had surgeries on both ankles in the past, shot his free throw before exiting to the locker room. He was on crutches and in a walking boot after the game.
