Westbrook sets All-Star record for scoring in a half, finishes with 41

Russell Westbrook joined Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan on Sunday as the only players to record a 40-point game in an All-Star contest, pouring in 41 points on 16-of-28 (57 percent) shooting.
Westbrook finished one point shy of Chamberlain's 42-point record, set in 1962. Jordan scored 40 in 1988.
The Oklahoma City Thunder guard, who set an All-Star Game record for scoring in a half with 27 points in 11 first-half minutes, knocked down five 3-pointers, including these second-quarter heat checks:
The old record of 24 points in a half was shared by Glen Rice (1997) and Kyrie Irving (2014).
