The Denver Nuggets parted ways with power forwards Victor Claver and Thomas Robinson, the team announced Sunday.
Both players were rumored to be nearing buyouts before the news was made official on Sunday.
Claver and Robinson were acquired in a trade deadline deal that saw guards Arron Afflalo and Alonzo Gee shipped to the Portland Trail Blazers.
Both Claver and Robinson are former first round draft picks. Robinson projected as a defensive-first, hard-nosed rebounder, whereas Claver was thought to be a future stretch-four.
Claver averaged 3.2 points and 2.2 rebounds in his career as a Trail Blazer. Robinson fared a bit better, averaging 4.5 points and 4.3 rebounds in Portland.
