MRI on Nick Young's knee comes back negative
An MRI on Nick Young's ailing left knee came back negative, according to Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News.
The Los Angeles Lakers' swingman underwent tests Monday after he was bothered by swelling in the knee, the latest leg issue to impact Young this season. Young's considered questionable for Wednesday's game against the Utah Jazz after everything checked out fine.
Young, who felt knee pain during Sunday's win over the Boston Celtics, has been hobbled by multiple injuries, missing the Lakers' first 10 games while recovering from a thumb tear and later dealing with foot and ankle issues.
The colorful 29-year-old is averaging 13.4 points on a career-worst 36.6 percent shooting from the field in 23.8 minutes per game.
Center Robert Sacre also had an MRI for a sore left foot that came back negative. He, too, is considered questionable Wednesday.
