Most basketball fans know that Oklahoma City Thunder star Serge Ibaka made his inspiring journey to the NBA from the Republic of the Congo, but few realize just how unlikely his rise to the top was.
Born Ibaka Ngobila Serge Jonas, the 25-year-old tells his story of having no food and sleeping on the street in an upcoming Grantland documentary titled "Son of the Congo," set for a March 23 release.
