Celtics' Evan Turner records 1st career triple-double in blowout win over Knicks
Bob DeChiara / USA TODAY Sports
It's been a pretty nice stretch for Boston Celtics shooting guard Evan Turner, who has hit massive game-winners to knock off mighty opponents in the Portland Trail Blazers and Atlanta Hawks, and now has an NBA triple-double to his name
Turner notched 10 points (on 5-of-9 shooting), 12 rebounds and 10 assists on Wednesday in the Celtics' blowout over the New York Knicks.
The Knicks hung with the Celtics for the whole first half, and were actually up a point at the break. But Turner and the Celtics pulled away in the second half, cruising to a 115-94 win, their second in a row.
