Draymond Green throws shade at Dahntay Jones: 'He don't play'
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green smartly waited until after the game to respond to Los Angeles Clippers guard Dahntay Jones's antics.
Jones tried to provoke Green into sparking a potential altercation by bumping into Green after the Warriors' 106-98 win over the Clippers on Sunday. Green was being interviewed at the time so didn't retaliate.
Instead, he waited until after the game to throw shade at Jones.
I think he wanted a reaction from me, but he don't play. So, me getting suspended and (Jones) getting suspended is different. When you don't play, that's probably his role on the team.
...
If he gets suspended, (the Clippers) might not even notice.
...
That's really smart, too. It's on ABC and obviously the post-game interview is the highlight segment and he bumped somebody. He got some camera time, which he needed, because there wasn't much celebrating from their bench today, so you didn't see him.
To Green's credit, he has a point. Green is a key starter on the league-best Warriors, while Jones has logged 78 minutes in total this season.
