Mavericks' Carlisle: Chandler Parsons is single, playing Sunday; Harris out
Chandler still hasn't found his Monica.
At least he has his health. Chandler Parsons will return from a seven-game absence due to a sprained left ankle on Sunday as his Dallas Mavericks take on the Los Angeles Lakers.
Parsons' return had been expected and pushes Richard Jefferson to the bench, giving the Mavericks a healthy starting five for the first time since Feb. 20. The team went 3-4 without Parsons, dropping them to 40-24, tied for sixth in the Western Conference. The team has been 3.9 points per-100 possessions better when Parsons is on the court this season.
In 54 games, Parsons is averaging 15.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists while hitting 37.5 percent of his threes. He's shooting zero percent from love, however, with head coach Rick Carlisle announcing Parsons' status as single on Sunday.
Rick Carlisle, asked about Chandler Parsons' status: "He's single." (Yes, Parsons is playing.)

Devin Harris will miss his second game in a row due to a right hand injury suffered Thursday. The combo-guard is averaging 8.9 points and 3.3 assists in 22.8 minutes.
