Heat's Dragic 75 percent sure he'll return Wednesday
With the undermanned Miami Heat in a dog fight for their playoff lives, injured point guard Goran Dragic says there is a 75 percent chance he'll return to the lineup for Wednesday's big clash with the Brooklyn Nets.
Dragic, who had recently dealt with back spasms, has missed the team's last two games after falling hard on his tailbone in Friday's loss to the Washington Wizards.
Dragic has averaged 16.1 points, 5.1 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals on an outstanding 52-37-80 shooting line in eight games with the Heat since being acquired from the Phoenix Suns in a deadline day trade.
The Heat, who lost center Hassan Whiteside to a one-game suspension on Tuesday, and who will remain without Chris Bosh and Josh McRoberts, find themselves a half-game back of the Eastern Conference's eighth and final playoff spot.
The Nets are 2.5 games back of eighth.
