It seems like ages ago, but Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams used to be one of the best at his position.
Williams used to have the whole package at point guard. He had the size to drive and attack the basket. He had a dead-eye jumpshot. He had the passing vision to pick teams apart on screen-and-roll. Most importantly, Williams had a tight handle, which he routinely used to embarrass defenders.
Now, playing in his 10th season at the age of 30, Williams is a shell of his former self. But occasionally, Williams can still show flashes of what made him elite.
Here, Williams crosses up Norris Cole, before dropping a perfect pocket pass to Brook Lopez for the easy bucket.
