Grizzlies' Conley leaves game with ankle injury, returns
Mike Conley of the Memphis Grizzlies left Wednesday night's game against the Celtics in Boston with a right ankle injury in the third quarter.
In a strong show of resilience, he returned to the game in the fourth.
The injury happened while he was dribbling and being pressed by Avery Bradley. Conley stopped, his right plant leg buckling.
The point guard stayed down for a minute and had to be carried to the locker room by teammates.

Conley has had two bad ankles this season, but he missed four games earlier this season with a sprain to the right one.
This might not be a Paul Pierce wheelchair event, but like that piece of Boston lore, it did happen in TD Garden. Give Conley points for heart - to have to be carried out and then return to the game is worth a nod.
