Rubio, Pekovic, Garnett, Neal all out again Monday for T-Wolves
The Minnesota Timberwolves will once again be forced to take the court shorthanded when they host the Brooklyn Nets on Monday.
Ricky Rubio, Kevin Garnett, Nikola Pekovic and Gary Neal will sit out again. All four also sat out Sunday's loss to the San Antonio Spurs.
Rubio tweaked his left ankle in Friday's loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, while Pekovic injured his ankle Wednesday and has missed the last two games. Garnett has been sidelined by a left knee issue that will be looked at now that the team is home from their recent road trip.
Neal is dealing with a right hand injury picked up during Friday's practice.
There's not much need for the Timberwolves to play injured players at this point of the season, as Minnesota's 14-51 record ranks second from the bottom in the NBA, ahead of only the lowly New York Knicks.
