Metta World Peace's global odyssey continued Tuesday, when he inked a contract for the rest of the Italian basketball season with Lega Basket Serie A squad Pallacanestro Cantu.
The club's excitement was palpable through a series of tweets aimed towards various media outlets. World Peace chimed in himself via Twitter a little later.

World Peace, formerly known as Ron Artest, played 15 games in China this season but was shelved due to a knee injury. The 35-year-old one-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year last played in the NBA for his hometown New York Knicks in 2013-14, before being waived last February.
