Clippers, Hornets to play 2 preseason games in China

The NBA will return to China this fall for two preseason games featuring the Los Angeles Clippers and Charlotte Hornets.

The teams will face off in Shenzhen on Oct. 11 and Shanghai on Oct. 14 as part of NBA Global Games China 2015. The Clippers also played preseason games in China in 2012, including one in Shanghai.

Shenzhen will host its first NBA game. A planned city built immediately north of the Hong Kong border, the population grew from approximately 314,000 people in 1979 to 10.5 million in 2011.
