VIDEO: Blake Griffin's spinning, 180-degree, left-handed block is something to behold
Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports
Blake Griffin took to the skies Sunday, and he stayed there a while.
The Los Angeles Clippers' big man went up to block Jonas Jerebko, and the Boston Celtics' power forward employed the pump fake. So Griffin did what any athletic freak would: He did a 180 and used his left hand on the rejection, instead of the right he originally planned to use. Griffin then grabbed the ball, seemingly mid-dribble, and took it the other way.
Simply unbelievable.
Griffin had 21 points, nine rebounds and four assists Sunday, as the Clippers won their seventh straight, 119-106. That was his only block, and should probably count as two.
