Dwyane Wade leaves game with knee bruise
This might be the injury that breaks the Miami Heat's back this season.
Shooting guard Dwyane Wade sustained what looked to be a knee injury against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday. Wade lost his footing and his leg twisted awkwardly.
Wade then headed to the locker room, but he was able to walk under his own power. However, he will not return for the second half.
The 33-year-old Wade has powered the Heat with a tremendous comeback season, posting averages of 21.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and five assists in 31.8 minutes per game. He's coming off an impressive showing in March, where he averaged 24.5 points per game.
After the game, Wade told reporters that he will be re-evaluated on Saturday.
Wade: "We will see when Saturday comes." Just feels some pain on inside of L knee, where it hit court. Right knee is fine.
