The Portland Trail Blazers have suffered a blow so close to postseason play.
The team announced Friday that an MRI confirmed that shooting guard Arron Afflalo suffered a right shoulder strain that's expected to keep him out of action for one-to-two weeks.
Afflalo left Thursday's loss to the Golden State Warriors in the fourth quarter, saying he felt a tear in the back of his right shoulder. He also said he couldn't lift his arm over his shoulder after the game.
Afflalo was averaging 10.6 points and shooting 40 percent from 3-point range in 25 games with the Blazers.
